Thank you for visiting my website. I hope you enjoy what you read and see here. Let me tell you a little about myself.
I have been a singer and and an actor professionally for over 40 years and received my degree in Theater Arts from UCLA. I joined Actor's Equity Association in 1979 when I did my first regional theater production.
After moving to Charlottesville in 1987 I became involved in local theater and since getting cast in La Cage Aux Folles at Live Arts in 1995, I've done close to 40 productions locally and in Richmond and Fredericksburg.
Check out my resume...it's been a privilege to be involved in some amazing productions at Live Arts, Heritage Theater Festival, Four County Players, Richmond Triangle Players, New Lyric Theatre, Riverside Center For the Performing Arts and the Hamner Theater. And to have worked with some amazing actors, directors, and designers, many of whom have gone on to Broadway and films.
In 2007 readers of the C-Ville Weekly voted me Best Actor in Charlottesville and in 2014 I received the Richmond Theater Critics Circle (ARTSIE) Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical (Cabaret).
Since 1992 I have been a full time vocal instructor in Charlottesville, teaching students of all ages who are interested in developing their voices and expanding their repertoire. My studio is in my home in the Fry's Spring area of Charlottesville and I am very grateful to the continued support and faith of my students, most of whom have come to me by word of mouth.
Over the last 30 years I have created a wonderful life in Charlottesville, full of good friends, creativity and happiness. I am happy to share just a little of my creative life with you here. Thanks for checking out my website and please feel free to contact me with questions, interest in vocal instruction or my next project, or just to say hello.
